why am i having to log on to my pc now?

hi there i have a very wierd problem i turned my pc on this morning and it came up with my account name and said click to login, this has never happened b4 why has this come up is there a way of disabling it? im the only 1 who uses the computer so i just cant understand why this has happened

any ideas

This sometimes happens when .NET is installed as another user is added that is used by the system. Not sure how to stop it though.
 
If you have installed .Net 1 then you will need the NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe
Update to fix the log in problems.

This does not appear to happen with Net 2
 
i have checked my add remove programs i have micrsoft net framework 1.1 installed can i delete it or is it a program u need on your system, i followed the command u can use to stop having to log in but it still sometimes makes me really annoying

thats .Net, either you installed it or it was downloaded in an auto update. its nothing to worry about though. :p
 
If you have grabbed all Windows Updates, you will now have a .Net Account.

Just go into Control Panel/Accounts or Users and delete the .Net Account and if it asks, Delete all Files.
 
i just dloded some more windows updates and one of them was a hotfix for 1.1.net and i no longer have this problem the .net account isn't even showing in the user accounts so hopefully the update has fixed the bug thanks for your quick responce to this appriciate it
