My current Microsoft natural keyboard needs replacing. I saw the very funky looking Microsoft Sculpt wireless keyboard (the one with very funny split). Was looking at the one with the mouse and separate number pad but it seems out of stock at most places (including my go to place Amazon). The only places I can find it are charging a huge premium.

I only learnt of this keyboard recently but I see it's been out for years. I'm not sure why it's out of stock but could this be cos of a new model coming out?

Ah okay. The Surface keyboard didn't seem as good cos it's got the number pad again. Rather have the detached version as I use it so infrequently. Thanks for the link though and replying

No worries, there does look to be a large selection still available to buy direct from Microsoft, including the older sculpt, although I've not actually gone through the process of checking stock availability etc. The surface keyboards I think are supposed to be incrementally better than past keyboards e.g. better travel of keys, better components used to build, better features e.g. coming soon fingerprint key etc.

Maybe give this a read...
