Thanks!
It's between the
GB3461WQSU-B1
or
GB3466WQSU-B1
As you guys said, the curved is VA and the flat is IPS
I'd take the flat IPS personally. Quality control looks to still be an issue going by the main thread on here for the flat IPS though. Make sure you buy it from somewhere with easy returns.
I don't mind getting an ultra-wide. However on YouTube some people have said you can't fill the screen with some games and therefore get cropped black bars on the scren
The overwhelming majority of people do not use one for 12 hours a day 365 days a year. The life span of an OLED is 30,000 hours, with mixed content + playing games 12 hours a day will only last 7 years, unless you only game on it for 5 hours day then it will last 27 years
true, but many can be easily patched to work with UW resolutions. Check the games you play here![]()

The other question is. Is browsing the web on an ultrawide 34" comfortable or not ?
There is one more i'm considering
AOC CU34G2X/BK
only use my 34" for games as for me the UW is too wide for browsing.
Am I missing out on much by not having over 60hz ?
Personally I like a large screen as it's more emmersive
Do you guys not feel that anything under 32" is too small ?
I currently use a 43" UHD TV ( 3840x2160 ) and find it just fine. So would I then be OK with using an ultrawide which is ( 3440 x 1440 )
I don't think i'll pay £450 for an ultrawide 34"
I can get a 32" curved for £330 ( it also does 144hz and freesync )
You usually get one with the monitor so I’d check the box again.Well I got my 32" curved samsung and it seems good so far, need a DP cable though to get the 144hz as I can't get past 120hz
