Why are PCI blanking plates so expensive?

Just got myself a new case, the Zalman Z9, however, my one gripe about it is that it doesn't come with any PCI blanking plates. Instead the flimsy piece of metal has to be broken off, leaving a gaping hole.

I had a look around, and these things are so expensive. Why is that?

No idea why they're so expensive (not really looked) but I'm with you on the **** design of the PCI slots on the Zalman Z9, it's probably the only real negative of that specific case.

Seem pretty cheap to me too. £2 odd for 5 is a pretty good price.

Sure if you go buying modder type vented or special material/colour type ones then you pay a premium.

I posted this after having searched on an aution website, didn't find any for £2~. Do they have another name?

Hmmm... I suspect I might have been looking at premium ones. Makes sense. Will have another look.

Thanks.
