Decided to play a ranked game on FIFA before. First guy I played was pretty decent (had about 120k pts) and had me under pressure early on, which resulted in me conceding (an OG
). Was a very tight game and I was having to really concentrate. Managed to get myself infront, and then made it 3 - 1 in about the 80th. He carries on, but then quits in the 90th, am I alone in thinking what is the point?
Same thing happened the next game. Played an interactive league game, Utd v Everton. Dominated from the off, and he was never going to win, but as soon as the 2nd went in, again he just quit.
Why do people do this, especially when it still goes on your record anyway? It seems to be 1 v 1 games that are the worst for this, and Fight Night was terrible for it, almost nobody stuck around and played the game out when losing.
Even if I am getting slapped (which happens on many games for me) I just look at it as at the very least I'm getting experience playing quality players, which can only help you improve.
I'm sure everyone must have examples of people being incredibly sore losers, and while for the quitter it doesn't give any real advantage, it doesn't help the enjoyment of the game for me when someone does it.
