Why are there no 2GB DDr2 800Mhz (PC2 6400) modules available to buy?

The title says it all really. Why can I not find 2GB modules to buy in the UK. The only ones I've seen are at Crucial and are PC2 5300. Newegg type US sites seem to have no issues though. :(

What gives?

He should have made himself clear then.

I saw kingston 4GB ram going for 2GB x 2.

I think the OP was perfectly clear in asking for 2Gb MODULES and not kits.

As for where they are, that's anyone's guess. The Kingston 2Gb module and the 4Gb (2 x 2Gb) kit have now been removed.

Perfectly clear to you, doesn't mean the same for me. Accept the fact that not everyone read what he said the same way as you do.

id give it 6 months and they will be available everywhere due to vista 64 and its ability to take more than 3gb

Cant believe someone can so be so quick to judge.

Thanks to all that responded. Special thanks go to those who read properly rather than fire off insults without even reading and then not having the courtesy to apologise.

I'll just have to keep waiting for that memory to show up in the shops I guess.

Cheers
