Why are wireless networks so crap?

Both files were played in exactly the same way... i.e, through the My Videos section of Media Centre.

If you're using Vista, goto Network and Sharing centre, then click View Status of your Wireless connection and it tells you in there.

Above reply might have answered your question but with 802.11g the actual throughput is only 19Mb/s max.
