Why are you up and posting?

but do you think the loud one gets less use due to it being loud? will the small quiet one get used more as its quiet ;)

bit different to my night role. im working currently as film set security. The location i am on at the moment is surrounded with razor wire fencing, large steal gates and there is 2 of us here on security. however, behind us we have a large army base, therefore there security is visable from here.

really nothing to worry about on this location nice and easy ;)

Well yesterday was fairly quiet so I hardly did anything all night. Tonight we've had a bit more to do, but it's gone quiet again. It will start picking up in a bit though as people on early shifts start to come in. We all have TVs at our desk though due to the nature of our jobs so we've got them to keep us entertained if it gets quiet. Obviously got computers as well, but there is only so much tv watching and Internet surfing you can do in one night before you get a little bored!

tell me about it.

ive spent all night tonight (well from 12.30) watching dvds and online. its been a good night though and gone fairly quickly.

but was luck that from 6 - 12.30 we had a lot of location vehicles arrive which took up a lot of time, now its just the last 2.5 hours the hard bit :( tiredness starts to kick in

Well I'm trying to get in to Company of Heroes at the moment, so I find watching a replay or two is a good way to kill time. Each one can last up to an hour or so so they are a winner in my book!

I actually bought in my netbook tonight and my C++ book as I've been trying to brush up on my programming skills for ages. I can never be bothered at home as I can usually always find more fun things to do. Working during the day you never really get the chance to sit down for long periods of time to do what you like so during the day is out of the question. Haven't really bothered to do anything with it tonight, so I bought it all in for nothing! Might bring it in tomorrow night and see then.

I've not really felt that tired during the shifts that much so far. It's the train back that I don't like as I know towards the end of the week I'm going to be absolutely knackered and I'm going to miss my stop on the train. :(

Ho hum. I might have my 'dinner' in a bit before I get too close to the end of my shift.

Just took a break from Kwai to make some coffee. Gonna slog through the day and get my sleep back on track methinks.

im currently in the office at work (sprayshop) normally im spraying but i put 300pounds of pressure in my index finger so its kinda knackard atm lol. so not a lot to do in the office so i post on here :)

Ive not been to sleep yet. Ive been getting up progressively later each day and going to bed later, to the point where i am now still up and not tired. Going to have to stay up till tonight i think.

The thing that worries me is that the little compressor might not get used much at all, and will cost as much as the big one + most of it's tools just for a bit of peace and quiet whilst using the airbrush.

You can get the big ear protectors they use on gun ranges cheap.

and they got enough room inside to have those little ear bud headphones on underneath :)
