Why bother?

I read a lot of people saying "sick of playing MW2 at the moment" as an example, or any other game.

Why do people bother? If I get sick of playing a game, then I sure as hell won't play it again and again to make it even worse.

Is there something I'm missing or is it just a select few that have to play a game non stop regardless of if they enjoy it and only play cos their mates are playing.

Well with single player games I stick with them till I've finished them rather than leave them at 70%. At that point, it seems the bigger waste of time not finishing them.

Guess it could be because there isn't really anything new out at the minute. There has been almost a month slump in games until the big releases this month.

People hate it but love it I guess lol

as said above having multiple games is like a must - I also think they have to be different types of games. Say like a shooter but then like just cause 2 or gta where u can just go around blowin things up

Yep. I hate leaving games unfinished. I pushed my way through Prince Of Persia even though I wasn't enjoying it that much, and just finished Gears Of War before giving it back to my mate. Not overly happy with getting just 100 gamerpoints on it, but there's no way I was going to play it through a few more times to get up to a respectable amount.

Well i know what you mean about you don't like leaving games..
But what if you just got really bored of it, then theres just no point playing as it bores you which will frustrate you and so on..

But then its like at least i can say "I've done it :D"
Think its worse with MMO's where you level up and it takes so long but you just want to get to that top level..
