Why can I not run HD5770 + X1550 at the same time?

Using Windows 7 x64, I really need to make use of the TV-out function on the X1550 but when I try to run it with the HD5770 I can only use one card, the other will complain about not being able to start because of memory resources etc.

Any ideas?

Wonderfully useless posts. I have the HD5770 in my possession so I don't exactly need telling it has a HDMI port.

This forum really has gone down hill.

Having been a reluctant poster for many years even before the nuke of 2002 i can say yes this forum has gone down hill!

I was inferring a little to prompt you for more useful information as to why the 5770 does not provide all you need!

as they are both PCI-E cards I would consider the possibility that they will only work with crossfire enabled but I would also think this would severely limit the power of your 5770 (As xfire will limit all cards to the speed slowest one), there for the only option I can come up with would be a standard PCI graphics card of another brand (because they cannot be used in xfire there for no mix ups)

I do hope this post has been of use to you in some way.

Bigboy!
