why cannot I not work this out? maths question.

Lads, I have a friend who got a wage rise from £7.21 to a wopping £7.50 an hour, im trying to work out what precentage wage rise that actually equates to but cannot for the life of me do it, can someone let me know the answer please and how they worked it out will be helpful

I do enjoy how some people on these forums react, some just help, others jokingly mock and a minority seriously mock and judge, nowt stranger than folk!

I was very busy working, was asked a question that with a little googling and thinking power I probably could have answered but did not have time, I thought ill quickly post it in GD from my S4, it seems I accidentally pressed the "cannot" predictive text word as opposed to the "can" which is probably because I was also on my work phone at the time. GD did not let me down and the question was answered quickly without me having to divert much of my attention or ever diminishing brain power, kind of like distributive computing for the brain.
