why cant i add an gtx 1080/1080 ti to this?

As above. The Kolink power supply used only provides 408W on the 12v rail. It could run a non-overclocked mainstream system with a non-overclocked GTX 1080 but is still not the sort of PSU you'd want powering such a card.

You can put any spec you want together, and ask for a quote. Don't have to restrict yourself to configurator/pre-built. Or if you like the majority of the parts in a pre-built and just want to change one or two things, you can do that instead (if permitted).

A 1080ti requires a 600W (ish) PSU. That PC only ha a 500W. Seems to me though if you add a 1080ti to that PC you are out of balance a bit. All your money is going on the graphics card. What do you need the 1080ti for? Are you sure the 1060/1070 won't do?

You can have a 1080ti in that but you'll have to pay for a bigger psu, post in the CS section or give them a call and they'll quote you for the upgrades required.

Either section , mention to CS and your golden . Might get slightly cheaper as build stock possibly
