Why cant i delete this folder!!

hi i have just uninstalled my windows live after having some problems with it but i cant delete the folder its left in the program files 86 folder it keeps coming up i need permission from liam-desktop/liam to be able to delete it, i changed the ownership to this account with everything ticked apart from special permissions as its blanked out but it still wont work! am i doing something wrong?

rebooted since you uninstalled it? It could still be "in use" according to the OS.

something is using it still, work that out and you will find success!

boot a linux CD and use that.

get processexplorer and search for the file handle using the name of he folder. Then delete it. Then you should be able to delete it.

Download 'Unlocker'. That should fix it.
