Just got my crucial m4 128gb, mobo is gigabyte p55a ud4 and in the bios I am trying to enable turbo sata 3 to unleash the full potential of this drive, but the turbo usb 3.0/sata3 is set to auto and I can't change it, I want to change it to turbo sata3, i have tried changing every setting in the bios and it still won't let me change it, it's just a faded out option like some other options in bios indicating I can't change it, please help this is really getting on my nerves.
I have the latest f15 bios installed, thanks.

Yep it gets enabled with only 1 gpu installed not 2, I may consider getting that Asus sata 3 controller for 30pound, at least I can still use crossfire with it and get the same speeds that I am getting now with crossfire.

Is there enough expansion room in that board for one when running Crossfire? and even if it does fit you still have to be careful that it won't take bandwidth/lanes away from the GPU's.

P55 systems aren't the best if you want full speed SATA/USB3 unfortunately.

That's true, I decided to keep the ssd in the sata 2 port and keep crossfire enabled, in the sata 3 port I only got increased read speeds by about 50mb more than in sata 2 and I don't it's worth sacrificing crossfire just for a the slight increase in read speeds, but i'm happy with it in sata 2 port still very fast and I will prolly be upgrading to ivy bridge when its released next year so at least then I can benefit from the extra bandwidth from the ivy bridge motherboards to get the full potential of my ssd.
