After seeing many threads recently about HL2 Mods I decided to install steam on my mac and give some of them a shot.
Anyway, after much digging and trying out various email addresses and usernames I eventually managed to get my password changed so I could log in.
Now when I try to log on I get the message 'Steam is having trouble connecting to the Steam Servers'. Now i dont get this as I have surely just accsessed the steam servers to retrieve my account information. Also when I tried to log on ten minutes ago (while trying to guess my logon details) I got the message 'Wrong username/password etc...'
When I check the Steam Staus page like it tells me there is no mention of Steam either being up or down. Only some stats saying that steam is currently 100k people below its peak.
So help me please. Why can't I log into steam.
Also, firewalls etc.. are not causing the problem.
