Why Cant The Good Guys Lose?

Well i often think when watching a predictable film why couldnt the good guy loose.In the films which do this they are often very good and make for intresting viewing.For eg- arlington road .what is best film youve seen where the hero gets trashed or loses to evil.

This is one reason i liked The House of 1000 corpses, the bad guys win a lot lol. Saying that its a rubbish film, i actually though the sequel was quite good though

I like endings that are left a bit open like The Thing.

Oh and Ash hardly wins in Evil Dead II or III for that matter.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

Night Of The Living Dead has a superb ending.

Dead Man's Chest if you want a recent blockbuster.
