my parents purchaced this
12 month old Dell computer
celeron D 3.0
updated to 2gb ram (from 512 by me)
onbord gpu... nothing special
every few minutes it would just seem to go to sleep, pause whatever i was trying to do like open a control panel, folder etc etc then efter about 3 minutes wake up and continue.
factory reset = same problem pluss a lot of useless expired bundled software.
complete format and install of handy vista disk using dell code and there is no snoozy tme for the comp and it zips along nicely now.
what's all that about. is a dell back up realy that poor.
(before the first reinstall id did have reminants of slimewire on there tho but a factory reset should have solved that)
