why do americans drive automatics?

Each to their own but even If I were loaded and in the 'supercar' league I'd still drive a manual.

And I would, with a supercar. But since I don't own a supercar, and do own a gargantuan lump of American scrap, I'll enjoy driving an auto thanks.

im not sure what supercar i would buy as a manual if i could get some auto veriant.
