All the aftermarket cards (970, 980 etc) have big aftermarket OCs (i think the asus gold 980 is 1400+ on the boost out the box) but none of the cards including the gold, classy and hall of fame etc overclock memory (i think they do a 5mhz overclock to reach 7010 effective, but nothing major).
Why do they not overclock memory? is it because overclocking memory is pointless? or is there another reason?
