I think it's ridiculous that you try to form opinions of a mac user just because you've seen one or two people with 'spikey hair' that design art.

I admit that there are mac users who do take the wrong attitude but as this original post proves, there are pc users who do so also.

This post just reinforces my theory.

My PC runs @ 3.6ghz ( read post's correctly)

My PC is not what you call overpriced.I suggest you do some research on PC hardware.

I can use both but MAC users are just a pain in the **** in my experience.

I studied AVID at degree level using macs.

It is one of the industry standards.

However this didn't make me enjoy working on them.

I did my final project on my home PC after clearing with the head of department that I was being marked on the final production not the software I was using.

My PC was faster than the university computers so therefore I could get more done.
 
You spend the same money on a mac as a PC and the PC will be faster period.

My existence comment was tongue in cheek.

Its not really the hardware that disagrees with me.

PC is faster more fun and more tweakable than any mac.

Its the fact that some MAC users deem themsleves more credible and creative..

"Just because they use a mac"

AVID runs just as good on PC or MAC.

But the MAC user will see himself as a genuine Video Editor for some strange reason :p

Mac users do though thats my point.

They think they are the real professionals when it come to Video editing etc..in my experience.

They frown upon anyone who "dares to edit on a pc"
 
Its my thread and If late comers want to comment then I suggest they actually read the whole thread rather than jumping on the bandwagon.

I use mac's I use PC's I have studied at degree level using macs and have experience on them in a professional capacity.

This still doesn't stop me from hating apple.

It make people believe they have the skills to create
It makes people believe they have the skills to be "cutting edge"

In reality it makes you a **** as most people here defending macs,and I might add this thread has nothing to do about that.Are coming across as aggresive and highly delusional.

Macs do one thing.

They make people think they are something they are not.

Its my thread and its my opinion.And I have had enough experience in the professional sector to come to this conclusion.

I just don't like fanboys of any description.... someone the the other day at work said "I can't believe you go to Cafe Nero when Starbucks is soooo much better and doesn't taste of ****".

It is also further away, more expensive and I get less. Somehow, that seems a fitting analogy to the mac vs. pc debate :)

My thinkpad is reliable,Robust and its a laptop.

Lame arguements to back up a user ethic that makes you a mac user.

No valid points over a PC tbh. Admit it.

I probably have more experience than you using macs.

I have complete command over both OS.

By beef isn't with the OS its with the users on the whole.

I graduated a number of years ago.

And now work in the industry.

There are better programs than final cut pro.

The average competent user can use both.

They both can do almost anything whilst both have separate specialities.

I have been for interviews for jobs and in interview they have asked...

Do you use a mac?

I say I have complete experience in both platforms but PC is far more rewarding.

They see the truth behind my talent.

Not BS statements about stabily of OSX
