Why do I not remember this game being so damn hard!

I got shadow of the beast 2 with the Amiga A500 when we bought it, it was packaged as some kind of "cinema special" (WTF shadow of the beast?) with the awfull nightbreed, days of thunder, and back to the future 2.

I remember SOTB 2 being brain numbingly hard, and i dont think i got off the firs level either.

I have that pack now - the games are pretty tragic but still fun ;)

and MB, it wouldn't be hard to find my place, i have retro junk spilling out of the place at the moment!

I had Chaos Engine on my CD32, and I have it now on my mobile phone. I got a new Amiga from the bay with a dozen or so games so I'm catching up with some fond memories.

The SoTB 2 intro is stunning for its time - it really is :)

I'm in the processes of getting some spare parts and software from a few mates' attics!

How great was Chaos Engine???

Loved that game...especially on 2 player, spent countless hours round my mates on that classic.

If you can find it hunt down a copy of Nightbreed: The Adventure.
Excellent game & far better than the useless action one that came bundled in that pack

Also another game that I found ridiculously hard was Silly Putty.
Fantastically funny but also rock solid after a couple of levels...although that may just have been because I was useless? :p :p

Oh I think I may break the A600 out at the weekend now.
Got some classics to play there :D

If you've a CD32 or A1200, I still say Diggers was way way underrated. I spent literally days on that game, simple to get into, kinda like lemmings but with a more adventure feel to it.
