Why do people call me racist?

So nobody was tolerant of other cultures before 'multiculturalism' started being forced upon us? Wonder what the point of going to war was then.

You seriously think it is OK for immigrants to move to the UK and not speak English?

'Multiculturalism' is people of different ethnicities/cultures living side by side yes? You say that this doesn't work, and are therefore against it. You are against people of different ethnicities living side by side, therefore you want them to live separately.

They don't mingle with the locals apparently, so how would you know they don't? Because you've seen someone foreign speaking to their own child in a playground?

Racism is a term that is quickly becoming a catch-all buzzword to mean any sort of intolerence. Their terminology may be incorrect but the thrust may not.

And TheCenturion, differentiating between nationals and non-nationals, or those of differing cultures and beliefs, is not racism. The key attribute being examined here is someone's association with a country, or adherence to a culture or religion, not their race or genetic make-up. This is not to excuse the practice, but the topic itself is about proper labelling.

In what way is it "wrong"? Please enlighten us. I'd agree it's hardly ideal but if a woman is coming here with her family for a job and she's the only English speaker do the rest have to stay? Where do you draw the line or do you only see things in Black and White?

I am against Eastern European immigration as well. They are white aren't they?

How in the hell does people speaking different languages help social cohesion? How can that benefit society when people cant even communicate with eachother?

You're against the free movement of people within an area of free movement. Excellent.
