Why do people flash when you overtake

Surley the only way to give a half definate answer would be lengthy testing of various cars and bikes on various tracks and roads? Unless your personal experience extends to that?

I can agree with that mate and i can also say that i am dated in my thoughts and things could have moved on somewhat.
I really don't mind being wrong (if i am) Debate in a polite manner is what i am after.

In that case start a new thread, but expect a lot of stupid ill informed replies. The fact is there is no such thing as a fair test, and most bikers wont care about the results. Its fast car owners who seem have a sore spot for bikes. I really dont care about whats faster, I love both bikes and cars, I just enjoy riding bikes more, and the enjoyment costs very little compared to a car that I would enjoy.

Nice! thats what I was looking for! still not fair though, the cresent bike is a lot cheaper than a radical!

Its bikes acceleration out of corners that gives it the edge i think, cars may be quicker in the corner but once out of it the bike will be right back with you if not in front if theyre better, a prime example of this is ghost rider undercover when hes chasing the BMW goes on 2 long but the first couple of mine are awesome lol :p

You are so misinformed it is hardly worth trying to communicate with you.
I am not saying my car anything i am generalising and answering a previous statement.
You kids can be so annoying at times. :p
At 39 years of age I think my childhood is well behind me sadly, and your point about communication is somewhat ironic for someone who uses generalisation with such alacrity don’t you think? Oh, and your point about being misinformed, wrong too, but this is not about my CV its about your hole digging :D

As far as I am aware a car holds the outright circuit record at every British race circuit, bar those that are bike specific such as The Isle of Man. I have never questioned a race bike will be slower than most ‘formula’ cars around a full lap, it would be stupid to do so, but I prefer not to use the “I have some mates, I know a track, I have experience, so I am right” method of debate, followed up with such a trite point. Experience is important, but so is an education to know when to apply it, or to use it in a form of debate ;)

The "cars are always quicker around the bends and bikes are always quicker on acceleration" is wrong on BOTH counts too, a look at a recent Autocar test will demonstrate this is not always the case! I have never ridden a bike, but I have driven/raced many cars on many circuits, though seems I will have to watch out for this super quick mini with its 1300GT engine, might struggle to keep up, or whatever you drive now I am sure you drive it better and faster than I ever could….

When my mate was driving and overtook someone who was doing 40 in a 60, the car coming the other way (plenty of space to tuck back in) flashed us .. funny though as that car also had a train of a dozen cars behind it lol.

Well all your Big words and insults cannot hide the fact that you agree with me can it.
You said "proof that cars are faster round bends"

Suggest you read what I said again, though miss out the big words if they hurt your fragile little mind  Maybe I should paraphrase as you seem to stuggle with stuff... "Not always" sinking in yet, thought not!

Attacking me personally really adds weight to your argument i must say.

I will back off now as i am sure Everyone else is tired of reading such rubbish.
