Why do people hate GFWL so much?

I have rebought games on Steam that I already have - but this is simply so that I don't have to bother with a shelf for my games. I just end up losing them or damaging the disk and then it's curtains anyway.
Same especially when they were so cheap in Steam summer sales :D

This is doing my head in,when i reinstalled Dirt 3 everything worked,as soon as i tried to install microsoft flight it spat at me and says the key is allready in use on this account:confused: yes i know that it's my account:mad:

Would it have anything to do with building a new pc and not uninstalling the game previous on my old pc which the hard drives are formatted now.

You've obviously got your router set up wrong. Or possibly you've pirated a copy of Windows. Of you didn't have a live rooster strapped to your bum while you installed it, I'm told that sometimes works :p

Or, per a MS rep on the xbox forums :

Okay, try uninstalling Microsoft Flight, then to try installing the Games for Windows Marketplace Client again. If it still give you the 0x80070005 error please try creating a new user account on your PC and seeing if you can install from that new user account.

Just think how much you'll love GFWL after doing that.

Edit - here's the link, just for reference : http://forums.xbox.com/gfw/technical_support/f/253/p/238201/1234632.aspx#1234632

For all the GFWL likers this game is free & superb :D & comes with LIVE achievements (200GS worth). Not that you would know as MS did nothing to promote the thing back in Dec 2009 :( its something which if it was sold on Steam would always sell well but whatever that's MS loss

When you buy select pay with MS Points which is the easy way it asks for 0 points otherwise using the credit card option means it still asks for £0 but you need to register a credit card on your account (which you can remove straight after anyway).
