Why does 3DMark show such low specs

I'm a bit confused , I just ran 3DMark and it says my graphics is as follows

YOU -> NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX, 108 MHz / 337 MHz
FASTEST -> ATI RADEON X1950 CrossFire Edition, 769 MHz / 1125 MHz

Now I thought this 8800GTX was faster than it is showing plus better than an an X1950.

What is 3DMark saying ?

So i wasted my time downloading a 600mb program then?

that's not what i'm saying, I know I don't have the fastest PC in the world, but if it can't get its figures right then surely it's a waste of time.

How can my card be showing as 108mhz?

ahh I give up with this OCing and benching, think i'll go play a game and enjoy my rig instead of caring about what it can and can't do
