As above, i have this irritating issue with my pc at the moment and i am not sure where to start to try and fix it.
I bought all the parts new and put it together myself maybe 10mth ago.

Ryzen 5 3600 (stock)
2x8gb kingston hyperx predator rgb ram
sapphire amd rx 5700xt pulse
msi b450 tomahawk max mb (bios 3.2 tried other bios but i get crashes with them 3.2 seems the most stable for me.)

Now the problem is i power on the system everything comes to life ram lights up graphic card lights up fans spin up, then the monitor reports no signal entering sleep mode, and the system just hangs there. Sometimes after what seems a lifetime the fans give a boost like short spin and everything comes to life and the system finishes booting up, other times i just hit the power button and the system fires up as if nothing was wrong. It has not done this all the time. Other than that it runs fine, i do get the occasional amd radeon drivers crashing.
So thats it, anyone able to suggest anything
thanks.

Psu:- be quiet! Straight Power 11 650W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply
i used 2 seperate cables for the power to the gpu

Try enabling xmp and gear down mode. Make sure your ram is set to the right voltage (should be around 1.35v). Are you definitely using the right slots? It should be in the 2nd and 4th slots from the cpu.

Have you connected the motherboard power cable?

think its all sorted now, fairly sure it was ram voltage related. Its booting as normal now, cheers for replies and suggestions.
