why does my metro screen go corrupt

hi guys only used win 8 for a week now dont like the metro screen but i did want to look through it although im having probs

when i go to the metro screen if i hover my mouse over the tiles they go black also same with emails when i hover over them the mail will dissapear.


all drivers are updated for graphics and chipsets so i dont know what the problem is

If you have an Nvidia GeForce card, the latest 320.18 WHQL drivers could be the cause, revert back to 314.22.

thanks for the reply weazle but im using a dell 7520 with a descrete 7730m and a intel 4000hd graphics which is controlling the metro screen

wonder if i can change it so the 7730 uses it to test

Did you follow the upgrade path to Win8, or did you do a clean install?

If you did the upgrade it sounds like problems I experienced. I did a clean install and it works perfectly.
