Why does my pc keep beeping ?

Hi all.

Only started today and ive not done anything new to it or loaded any programs etc but every 5-20min it beeps at me..Its coming from inside the actual tower case and not through my speakers..

any-one know how i can find out whats causing it as its driving me mad.

Could be some sort of hardware monitor, perhaps temperature or voltage related. Usually these types of alarms have a fairly high pitch.

prehaps it thinks you swear too much

check your hardware/temp monitor in the BIOS just after it's been beeping, might be a temperature or voltage warning
