Why does text in Google Chrome look ugly?

Everyone knows what the Arial 10 font looks like in Microsoft Word. In Firefox it looks the same. In Chrome it looks horrible. Why? Several versions ago Chrome didn't have that problem. Firefox used to have that problem but now they've fixed it.

Is there a way to fix it in Chrome?

I tested Arial 10 font in Word online on both Edge and Chrome so both look same clean font, not looked ugly as you described.

It looked fine on Chrome with latest version.

Look at the following page in the latest version of Firefox and Chrome to see the difference in how they display the font:

To show you more clearly I took a screenshot and put them side by side. Firefox is on the top and the font looks like how Arial 10 should look and Chrome is on the bottom and does NOT look right:

If you compare the Google Docs page in Firefox and Chrome do they look the same to you?

I also get this font problem in IE 10 when NOT in compatibility view. You need to view a normal website NOT Google Docs to see that.

Yeah bottom did not looked right, something on your Chrome seemed broke.

I checked Google docs link and compared it on Edge and Chrome they both looked same and font are clean like on the top one.

Is that a file inside Google Chrome or inside nVidia? Where do I find that file? I can't find any Nvideo configuration menu in the start menu.

You guys are correct. The font looks fine when everything is working correctly. I tested it on a 2nd PC I have that just has internal intel graphics.

So why does the text look weird on my PC and how do I fix it?
