Every so often my computer will just shut down for no reason at all. It'll shut down even when not doing anything except browsing internet etc. But the annoying thing is, most of the time it won't boot back up. I'll turn it back on, the fans will spin, everything will work like normal but the monitor just doesn't show any picture. It just flashes like it's not connected to the video card.
To fix this I usually just leave the computer off for a few mins. At first I though it was overheating, but the temps never go above 32C unless I'm running Orthos or something. What's most likely causing this? PSU?
Specs are E6320 (at 2.8GHz, stock volts), Gigabyte S3, 1GB OcUK PC6400 (at 800MHz, 2.1V, 5-5-5-15), Antec SmartPower 450W.
Thanks.
edit: holy crap, I've just been running Orthos, turned on Core Temp and the temps were at 100C!
What the hell.
edit2: it seems my heatsink (stock one) likes to stop working when under load. I heard a loud click before but thought nothing of it. I think it's broken. Temps are fine now though. I won't put the computer under any load until I get a new cooler. >_>
