Why does vista use my network connection??

My router flashes much more then in xp, and also in the resouce manager the network is accessing all sorts of stuff, is this normal?

Silly question - is it downloading updates in the background ?

you should be able to see what application is using your network connection by using "Resource Manager"


click start and type in perfmon in the run box
