Hi guys. So this is the situation:
I have an HD6770 - this card to be precise. So it's got DP, DVI and HDMI outputs. Rubbish card I know but I'm not a gamer, just a developer.
I have 3xDell U2412M monitors, they've got DP, DVI and VGA inputs.
Motherboard is Gigabyte Z87M-D3H with a 4670k in, brand new.
I can set up the monitors fine using both the iGPU and the 6770, but I can't get eyefinity working. I don't have a DP cable, I have an active DP->DVI adapter from a previous setup, but I don't think that should make a difference. The issue appears to lie with the HDMI, which I am using an HDMI->DVI adapter to convert. This doesn't appear to work in any config, even as the only display, so perhaps it's the cable (although it worked previously).
What I want to confirm before buying another HDMI->DVI cable is whether the above setup can do eyefinity, and whether there's a better solution to get to eyefinity nirvana than the HDMI->DVI cable route?
Just to avoid the obvious questions, all the monitors work fine, I've got the latest drivers installed, brand new installation of Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
