offer a mid season update?
I know they have their yearly realeases, but why not release an update after the winter to have all the transfers etc in it?
I play MLB the show and that has a weekly roster update which you can d/l for offline play and you need to use it for online play.
There isn't really an excuse for not releasing one after say the winter transfer window or some other time. Even charging a fiver for it it would be fine imo.

Don't Fifa 2008 do this? Ive seen the option before to update squads in the online bit. I might be wrong.
 
FIFA does this after every winter transfer season, pretty sure theyve done it for quite some time on PC versions of the game and now with the PS3 they also do it for consoles (not sure on PS2 / Xbox360)
