Why dont I get screen tear?

Not that its a bad thing But I just been playing hard reset demo and was getting 150 fps to 170fps and am using an HDTV led witch is only 60hz.
I been using msi afterburner beta and capping my fps to 59 right from get go. But I just noticed I never started the program and my fps where super high and I noticed no screen tear at all?

Means you're lucky. Might also be the TV "solving" the screen tears, or you're getting consistent framerates that syncs with the 60hz refresh rate...

Screen tearing is a visual artifact in video where information from two or more different frames is shown in a display device in a single screen draw.[1]

The artifact occurs when the video feed sent to the device isn't in sync with the display's refresh, be it due to non-matching refresh rates – in which case the tear line moves as the phase difference changes (with speed proportional to difference of frame rates) – or simply lack of sync between two equal frame rates, in which case the tear line is at a fixed location corresponding to the phase difference. During video motion, screen tearing creates a torn look as edges of objects (such as a wall or a tree) fail to line up.

Yer but my TV is only 60hz witch is 60 fps playing hard reset at 150fps is way over and was expecting tear everywhere but it wasn't the case. I been playing blacklight with cap at 59fps and noticed screen tear so now I just been playing it again with no cap and getting 62fps with zero tear strange.
By all means am not complaining haa
