Why don't you ever see one of these in a zombie movie?

Fuel; Some hold 80 gal and while this would never be a full tank, a big diesel/petrol engine would drink it like the rain falls making it impossible to run/maintain.

Noise; they are likely to attract attention, a v10 petrol isnt going to be quiet and I bet they are sluggish to get going.

Yup, also a pretty bog standard post zombiefied/apocalypse world has roads littered with abandoned cars, one of those things would simply be a ***** to manoeuvre through said obstructions.

Suppose if you kept it in a location without moving it'd be ok but fuel/electricity would run out at some point.

Because the people in zombie movies are all retarded. Everyone knows literally anyone would do a better job of surviving, zombies are the easiest thing to kill! But somehow in The Walking Dead they managed to let zombies into a tank - how the hell did that happen!!!

They did have an RV at one point in TWD to be fair, although not as nice as one of those. Personally I'd just find a military base, which obviously wouldn't have any soldiers in it because apparently despite being trained for war they suck at killing zombies and all got bit - yeah, that makes sense.

Quite correct, plus if The Walking Dead is anything to go by, the post zombie apocalypse will always have the latest model Kia or Chrysler's looking nice and polished - that's of course standard and what you want in any zombie apocalypse.

A push bike with panniers would probably be best for most zombie movie's (with shufflers not sprinters). Anything needing fuel would be buggered pretty quickly, however much fun a monster truck sounds at the time :D

If you're on about the first series, he was already in the tank.
