Why get a Curved Monitor?

The new curved monitors look great for gaming and watching movies, but what about work?

If you are using one for CAD, Photoshop, etc is not a flat screen better?

Just a question as I have never seen a curved screen in the flesh so it is hard to decide which is best for working on.

i think its same benefit as 21:9 flat one that you have more area on screen to work with but curved just make contents on screen more immersive . ( just an extra nice feeling )

.....But will not the images/models seem slightly distorted, or is that just my imagination?

as far as i know . people who bought curved said that it make sense for PC rather than TV as we sit in the middle of the screen so both side will be balance as its only slight settle curved .
