Why has my hard drive icon turned into a USB stick?

I have two drives on my Win XP SP2 installation a 36Gb Raptor and a 160Gb Maxtor.

However for some reason e drive icon has turned into a usb stick with wireless green signal coming out of it?

This is definitely a local drive, nothing to do with My wireless shuttle, and its even listed under My Computer rather than network resources.

I cant even find out where to change the icon back?

IIRC, the latest SATA drives are hot pluggable and i'd guess at it being some kind of windows update you received changed this

Sorry to deviate but can I just say what a great sig you have Trigger. One of my favourite programmes and that looks great.

Got to be the best comedy ever though. I think I have nearly every single episode now on DVD
