Why has the 350D with kit lens just dropped a lot in price?

well the 20d has been reduced loads likely because of the 30d announcement - i guess its just youre usual model shuffling... wonder what that makes my 10d worth haha

When you pass your driving test, you'll be looking at cars, and the four wheeled beasties will eat up all your £££.
I got the twin lens kit 18-55 55-200 with battery grip. Now all i need to do is learn how it works 
hehe

I may have to order one of these in a week or so and start building up my Canon stuff...although that might be a little pointless since I have *so* many lenses and accessories for my Minolta equipment!

Woo! This is good news. Have admired the 350D for a while now, from a distance though. Still can't afford it but I will save up and make sure I get my summer job back and slave away to get this beauty. Just not sure whether to go for the 18-55 standard kit or the 18-55 and 55-200 double pack. My uncle goes to the motorbikes at Silverstone quite a bit, having gotten bored with F1 now. I spoke to him a while ago at a family reunion and mentioned maybe me getting a camera and taking some sports shots of the bikes to learn more about the camera.
Probably would be better getting the 18-55 kit and getting the 70-200L though for motorsport photos though, eh?
