Why hasn't my site been indexed for a long while?

Well it might not seem like a long while but upon googling 'upleft' you'll find that my website is only listed as 'coming soon' and has only been indexed from the 1st of May.

Looking on my awstats it says that the GoogleBot's last visit was on the 15th of May though, so what's with this time shift? Just wondering :)

ill ask the guy at work tomorrow for you, he's being paid just for SEO and specifically google :p

My site seems to get checked once a month by googlebot and updates a few days afterwards, but there are ways around how many times the bot checks your site. You can tell it you are updating your site so check back in 3 days and normally it checks back and updates then but im not 100% sure

"Googlebot goes undercover as Firefox: The new evil?"

:D

Changes tend to show up on Google Index about 2 weeks after it's seen your new content. There's always a latency.

If you have a popular site, could be a few days .. depending on how much Gbot is around your site.

it all depends on PR, and how frequently your pages get updated.

if you arent getting indexed as much as you had liked, get more inbound links and keep adding new unique content to your site :)
