Why I love Apple

I have about 18 months left so they gave me 2 options.

I can either transfer it to the new machine what is left, or be refunded what is left and rebuy it.

Il probably just rebuy it, as i'm technically still a student so it isn't that much and for three years it isn't worth arguing over £50.

They do cost more, but I think the build is quality, so if you don't use customer support, you have not lost anything. My last MacBook Pro lasted me 3 and a half years and got run over by a pickup truck. The Aluminium saved the day. If it was plastic, it would be in the bin now. Mind you, it didn't have a glass screen, so I am guessing that would have broke if it was. My current MBP has a glass screen.

Great news!!.. I've only had one experience with Apple Care and it was exceptional. I've got a Mid 2010 27" iMac and when I brought the first one home - I wasn't happy with the screen (slightly different colour band just above the dock) - called them and they arranged an immediate replacement. No quibble - just went to the Apple Store (they didn't even open the box to check) and just handed me over a brand new replacement from stock with all of the apple care etc already transferred over!! :)
