Why is coke so bad for you?

Since when has sugar been bad for you? What an amazingly stupid statement.

^What an amazingly stupid statement^ you said it.
when you take multiple teaspoons in processed food throughout the day and not knowingly, bread, cakes, biscuits, drinks, cereals etc etc and most of the time it is far from plain sugar it has been processed in to the sugar groups for ingredients. Look at an ingredient list on a packet, bottle, box and most people cant recognise the list of chemicals. there is far more money to be made cracking raw food in to food groups for adding to 'food'.

What a load of bs

maybe, maybe not. i once worked in a coke canning factory. standard coke cans have a thin plastic film sprayed on the inside, to prevent the coke eating it's way out of the can.

i know nothing about lucozade though so like you say, could be BS.

excess which most people drinking fizzy drinks will exceed, it becomes bad just like fat or anything else. However the governments focused so much on fat and salt, people don't realise sugar is in fact worse than either.
Thats still rot :)

Fat isn't necessarily bad for you, just as sugar isn't necessarily bad for you.

Loads of sugar and chemicals in original but ASPARTAME is in diet version; read a little about Aspartame and tell me how it's so good!

I wouldn't touch Coke/Pepsi or whatever anyway ........ get a cardigan on, grow a bit of stubble and join CAMRA ....... real ale is the way forward! :D
