I tried comparing games and movies and it's just so dark that it's loosing all the details. Same with my monitor's default color space (Standard), quite similar to DCI shown on imgur. Only sRGB seems to have good contrast. Monitor XV272UP Acer IPS

you can't just change you monitors display mode. Did you make modification on the pc side of things ?
it's also worth noting that sRGB came pre calibrated from the factory and on DCI you can't change greyscale, hue or saturation G-axis. I didn't fiddle with anything inside Windows.

you need to set up your windows colour management I would think, at the least

I've seen a lot of people claim on reddit that this is supposed to be colour accurate out of the box (when you first start the monitor it's set in Standard c. space) which is like 99% similar to DCI image I provided.. i don't think that can be true. I do have an ICM profile but it doesn't seem to work on WIndows 11, currently waiting for a fix.
