Why is E6750 cheaper than E6600?

Erm as title really, the E6750 is faster at default speed, and has higher FSB but its cheaper? Is that because the E6600 is saught after for clocking? Is it a case of the lower FSB giving more headroom for pushing it up yourself before motherboard/ram gives up? I ask purely because Im looking to build a new core 2 setup myself and am going to be aiming at the best value setup I can get as I dont have much spare cash, if that means tweaking it a bit myself thats fine.

e6600 has a higher stock multi (x9) for those interested in highest overclocking potential, but with a good board the x8 multi of the e6750 is more than sufficient, and the e6750 guarantees a g0 stepping.

Thanks for the replies fellas, when I can get some cash together it looks like Ill be going with the E6750. Time to do some motherboard research as well :)

Well really just because they want the E6600 outta here, for some reason people are still buying them, which just serves to empty the stock and put extra cash in Intel's pockets.
