why is eve-online so good?

Hi,

just started playing eve because everyone was raving about it but to be honest im pretty bored, ive spent hours watching my ship fly its self from planet to planet delivering parcels.

What is it that everyone finds so good about this game? Any suggestions to make it more fun for me?

but how do i do this stuff?? say i want to pvp how on earth do i know whether or not it will be an even fight? There is no clear way of determining how much harder a target is... or is there?

I used to play DAoC and they had a handy colour scheme which easily identified which targets i should avoid.

hi,

after giving it more time (and joining the OCUK corp) ive gotta say that i am loving this! I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about giving it a go, at least download the trial.

Anyway last night i was evemailed by an agent saying he had a good mission for me, it involves picking up 144 units of mindflood and returning them. After some research i found out that mindflood is a narcotic and wondered if anyone has any advice for this kind of mission as i dont wanna get my ass kicked by CONCORD!!

well the problem is i know there are customs people around as i have to take it back to the ocuk hq!! i read somewhere that it wouldnt be classed as narcotic if it was for a mission, but dont wanna risk it incase it is!

you have to fly to their headquarters in isikano (i think, i should know cos im a member!) and from their you can apply. You will also have to sign up to their forum.

edit: if you search for ocuk you can find the HQ from there, set destianation and stick it on autopilot.
