Intel's 7nm transistor density is the same as TSMC's 5nm

Making small things even smaller is hard.
Intel's 7nm transistor density is the same as TSMC's 5nm
Exactly. Some people think is some sort of conspiracy and intel have been holding the world back for years.
It doesn't matter. TSMC doesn't have a "5nm" process, to begin with. It has "N5" process which designated something different.
What matters is the time-to-market. If TSMC is faster and brings its N5 process years before Intel gets its 7nm process ready, then it's game over for Intel.
To make matters worse for Intel - TSMC might be ready with its next-gen N3 process while Intel still struggles with its 7nm.
The world needs to get rid of Intel. Intel is bad and corrupted.
The world will move to ARM and AMD![]()
Since my Barton core AMD CPU I've always had intel. Never once had a problem. So no matter how corrupt they may be, i don't have any complaints.
You are not neutral - neutral people choose what is faster, more power efficient and state-of-the-art. Intel is none of those.
