Serious question. Over the years on these boards I've seen many exchanges like this, normally accompanied by that most aggravating of emoticons, the winky face.

I would like this explained. I'd like to know what is so super rad about changing an option in the preferences, and why I am an inferior human with a sub-par intellect for not doing so.

I would also like to know how much sex the people who feel the need to gloat about this are getting, but I fear that's too much to ask.

Surely I can't be alone in thinking this has to be in the top ten of the crappest things in the world to be smug about?

Edit: Biohazard, I'm sorry, but... Well, I'm not really. You boast about some weird stuff and you just happened to be the last person I saw do it.

Gah, it makes me so angry.

I do realise this is a personality defect on my part, but just look at it. Whenever someone uses that smiley I instantly picture them as a fat sweaty horrible rapey man with a combover and gapey shirt buttons who's trying to belittle me about something petty.

I'm sure it's just splendid, and forums with really low PPP, like ten, are horrible to browse, but really I leave it as it is because often when I browse forums I'm not logged in so there's little point. When it's really low I'll log in just because it's painful to read otherwise.

Edit: As a sidenote, some would argue that a man that was getting loads of minge all over his face all the time would entirely disregard that and make no comment at all. What do you make of that?
