Why is it impossible to register anything on BFG's site?

Third card I've bought from them now which is impossible to register due to it not having a UPC code. Last card I bought I ended up on the phone to the USA reading out the numbers over and over again. Eventually I think they just made one up for me because the number on the card 'didn't exist'.

They make good gear I know, but would being able to register said gear on their site be too much to ask?

Yea, Ive registered a couple of cards on there no problems at all. One was an RMA replacment so I didnt have proof of purchase, emailed them and they just set it up for me. You just have bad luck it would seem! I tend to email them though, they still sort it but a lot cheaper than phoning the US
