Why is it so cold?????

They mentioned on the news that parts of the UK have been so cold that £41million has been handed out in cold weather payments to the vulnerable/at risk!
Just stick an extra layer on your bed and be done with it ...

Indeed all the clear skies we've had have allowed all the heat (what little there is) to radiate back out to space overnight and during the day too!
This snow we're expecting tomorrow evening should bring a change in temperature but the snow will be the side effect of that

Its those foreigners stealing our jobs and stealing all the heats for their own uses to make us all leave this cold country for warmer places so then the warmer places get annoyed and the cycle continues.....

It has actually been a pretty warm winter so far compared to the past few years. I remember it being about dropping to around -10 in Edinburgh last winter. It has barely been below 0 so for this year.
No snow yet in Edinburgh either, other than one little flurry a couple of weeks ago that melted within a couple of hours.

Meaning I like to see some justification for this coldness in the form of snow.
Likewise I don't mind rain. But I don't want that pathetic spitty type rain. I much prefer it to be torrential or nothing at all.
Same for the heat. Full blaze or nothing. Bugger off Mr Atmosphere with your humidity and overcast sky.
It better snow this weekend with all this talk of Siberian wind etc.
