That some motherboards have a molex connector on them that is supposed to enhance stability if you've got a powerful graphics card plugged into the board? Is it not enough that we already hav the 24 pin atx conector, the 4 pin (8pin on newer mobos) connector and now multiple power connectors plugged into the newer graphics cards?

I've had them on two DFI boards, a sapphire board, an ASUS board and presently my DS3P. All these boards (iirc) had 24pin mobo connectors and had crossfire or SLi capabilities.

It must be to either supply the cards with extra juice or be something that does the same for the crossfire/SLi chipset.
