I think it depends on the level of bad we're talking about but I think the majority of people are the same way.

Dark triad theory, people for the most part in the short term are attracted to those who at least appear to posses confidence, hard-headedness and an inclination to risk-take.

Aside from the naughty robot in Foundation, for me it typically helps that most female baddies are gothed up and that's a definite weakness, bonus points if it's a goth asian baddie girl!

Yea but I think half of that series is literally that, the guy is an evil nutter, yet you get into his mind and can almost or sometimes do sympathise with him.

I actually really liked that series I think it was a bit underrated. And the girl that played Love Quinn was drop dead gorgeous (pardon the pun), shame they killed her off.
